My name is Debbie Cassidy. I am the designer and maker of everything on this site. I retired after a long career of nursing to enjoy my love of creating. My designs are influenced by my love of Texas and the Southwest styles. I live in Texas, and as a child we lived in New Mexico. I love animals of all types. I currently have Horses, chickens, dogs, and goats. Everything I use is ethically sourced. I get my hides and hair from a couple of different taxidermists. I try to honor the animals death by making things that a person may never be able to touch and hold otherwise, like buffalo hair. You can't just go up and pet a buffalo and feel the course and curly texture of their hair. You can't pet a bobcat to feel their hair and the softness. Have you ever felt a Moose's mane? It's long and soft and is one of my favorites.
